Mekari is looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Product Expansion Manager to lead our growth into the Malaysian and Singaporean markets. As we scale Mekari Talenta—our flagship HRIS and Payroll solution—you will be the bridge between our core product and the specific needs of regional businesses.
This isn't just about localization; it’s about building a market-winning strategy from "zero to one." You will navigate complex labor regulations, build local partnerships, and ensure our product feels "native" to HR leaders and business owners across Southeast Asia.
Job Description:

Drive Market Entry: Lead the end-to-end product go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Malaysia and Singapore, ensuring successful product-market fit.

Regulatory & Compliance Mapping: Serve as the subject matter expert on local frameworks (EPF, SOCSO, PCB in Malaysia; CPF, IRAS, MOM in Singapore) to ensure our payroll and HR modules are 100% compliant.

Bridge Product & Business: Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to prioritize localization needs and shape the roadmap based on deep market insights.

Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with local partners to accelerate market trust and distribution.

Commercial Alignment: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to craft localized value propositions, pricing strategies, and customer use cases.

Data-Driven Growth: Track and optimize key performance indicators, including user adoption, activation rates, and regional revenue impact.
Experience & Expertise:

4–5+ years in Product Expansion, GTM, or Product Marketing within B2B SaaS, Fintech, or HR Tech.

Deep Malaysia Market Knowledge: You understand the Malaysian business landscape, employment practices, and SMB/Mid-market buying behavior.

Regional Savvy: Working knowledge of the Singaporean HR ecosystem and experience scaling products across SEA borders.

Technical Literacy: Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear product specifications for technical teams.

Communication: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) is required to engage with our diverse regional stakeholders.
