Job Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with medium and large segment clients, primarily in the banking & financial, energy & resources, logistics, and telecommunications industries. This role focuses on both maintaining existing client accounts and identifying opportunities to scale up those accounts. The Account Manager will develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
    • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients.
    • Develop and implement account growth strategies to achieve sales targets.
    • Monitor and analyze client performance and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Client Retention:
    • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
    • Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the products or services.
    • Develop and execute strategies to retain clients and reduce churn.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver a seamless client experience.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs and market trends.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status in the CRM system.
    • Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and client feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts, especially within the specified industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
