Job Description:

The Sales Operation Intern will play a crucial, detail-oriented role in supporting the growth and efficiency of our Business Development (Sales) team. As an early member of a dynamic startup, you'll be instrumental in managing, organizing, and analyzing key sales data, directly impacting strategic decisions. This role requires a high degree of proactiveness, a commitment to accuracy, and a flexible, ownership-driven approach to work.

  • Data Collection & Management: Work directly with the Business Development team to systematically collect and organize daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities, figures, and pipeline data.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the cleanliness and accuracy of the sales database (e.g., CRM or shared spreadsheets), ensuring all collected data is consistent and reliable.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in current data collection and reporting processes and proactively propose solutions to improve speed and accuracy.
  • Administrative Support: Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Sales Operations and Leadership teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently an active student in the final year (min. Semester 6 or 7) of a Bachelor's Degree (S1) program, or a Fresh Graduate in Business/Management, Accounting/Finance, Statistics/Mathematics or a related field; diploma holders with strong telesales performance records may also be considered.
  • Must be able to ensure accuracy in data entry, flag any illogical/mismatched status, sales pattern detection.
  • Expected to clean data, chase information, and suggest improvements independently.
  • Must be comfortable switching tasks or dealing with urgent, last-minute requests.
  • Must handle the follow-up and reporting task efficiently despite the urgency.
  • Demonstrate great communication skills through the polite yet firm follow-up email in the task.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry, manipulation, and analysis is a must (knowledge of VLOOKUP/INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS and basic formulas is a significant plus).
  • Skills in filtering, sorting, and conditional formatting to quickly identify errors.
  • Reporting skills by creating simple charts (Bar, Line, Pie) and compiling summary sheets.
