Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage a broad range of complex corporate legal matters, including contract negotiations, mergers & acquisitions, and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to internal business teams on legal issues impacting their operations
• Establish and/or review policies and procedures, and assess and interpret the potential impact of new laws and regulations on our business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated legal documents 
• Independently conduct in-depth legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and identify potential risks
• Drive key legal projects related to licensing, compliance, and other strategic initiatives
• Manage client relationships and effectively communicate legal matters to both internal and external stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on current legal developments and industry trends.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate legal environment in a financial services industry
• Proven experience in dealing with business licensing processes and reporting to regulatory bodies e.g., Bank Indonesia, OJK, etc.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating various types of contracts
• Excellent communication in written and oral to liaise with business stakeholders. A good command of English (written and oral) would be an advantage
• Excellent legal analytical and commercial awareness skills and ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience in advising non-legal persons on legal risks
• Experience in operating in complex circumstances and be able to be proactive and take initiative
